Identity

A house hotel of heritage homes in Campeche:
a living collection of history.

A group of private homes within the walled city: heritage casonas and contemporary lofts, each with its own history, brought back to life with a singular sensibility.

We are more than a hotel, and something more intimate than a platform: complete homes with hotel services and one local team. A living collection of spaces with memory.

We are the experience of inhabiting a place that has always existed, now open to those who travel to understand, looked after by a small team that knows every wall, every story, every guest, by name.

Our Story

A City. A Love Story.

Casonas MX was born from a love story, with the city, with its streets, with its people. The kind of love that doesn't pass through a place, but stays.

Irma and Sébastien have called Campeche home for over twenty-one years. One Campechana, one Frenchman, two people who chose this city, built a life within it, and discovered, over time, a desire to share what it had given them.

What they created grew from a conviction: that a place this alive, this quietly extraordinary, deserves to be inhabited. Not just visited.

It was truly an unforgettable experience. The owner was exceptionally attentive, kind, and always available if we needed anything [...] The breakfast was delicious and refined, served with care, and we especially loved enjoying it on the charming little terrace. [...] Honestly, we would return to Campeche just to stay here again.

Casa Muralla is super comfortable, well thought out and elegant. Its charming inner courtyard and pool are fully private while the roof terrace has a gorgeous view of the city walls. Sebastien is a thoughtful and gracious host who manages a number of beautiful properties in town to high standards. Absolutely our new favorite option for a couple in Campeche!
