Culinary
Campeche's cuisine possesses a distinct identity, a coastal kitchen shaped by the long Spanish-Maya conversation that produced some of Mexico's most quietly extraordinary dishes.
Our chefs bring this legacy to life. The courtyard transforms in your private dining room.
Simply gather your guests, we orchestrate the rest.
A chef-led morning, fresh fruit, eggs prepared to order, and the traditional flavors of Campeche and the wider Yucatán. The kind of pace that turns breakfast into the first event of the day. A daily breakfast service is included in most stays. This is the upgraded version, slower, warmer, and cooked to order.
A private chef arrives, prepares a three to five course menu rooted in the seasonal Campeche palette, and serves at your pace, in the dining room or the courtyard, whichever the moment calls for. Wine pairings on request. Reference rate: from 135 USD per person, four course Campeche menu served at your house, service staff included. Confirmed 24 to 48 hours ahead over WhatsApp.
Dinner comes from one of the city's most celebrated kitchens, devoted to the Campeche tradition: a four course menu (starter, soup or salad, main and dessert) that can range through classics such as pan de cazón, declared cultural heritage of the state, x'catik chile stuffed with dogfish, coconut shrimp or pámpano tikin xic, closing with a coconut pie. The dishes are finished and served at your house, with kitchen and service staff throughout the evening, so the table flows without anyone in your party lifting a finger.
Every dinner is shaped around the occasion: on the base of the menu and the service you can add a decorative setup with fresh flowers and candles, wine, live music (trio, saxophone, violin or mariachi), cold sparks or photography, and the House Manager weaves it all into a single proposal.
And for those who prefer a more hands-on format, there is the evening with a traditional cook: a night of Campeche botanas at the center of the table (crispy jamaica flower taquitos, cochinita pibil, mini escabeche tortas), with a welcome cocktail and a live demonstration in which the cook teaches one of the menu's classics, starting with pan de cazón. You cook, you taste, you talk.
The dinner includesAn early exploration of Mercado Pedro Sainz de Baranda alongside our chef.
